one deep breath haiku: subtle change

This week's prompt at http://onebreathpoetry.blogspot.com/ is "subtle change." Here's what occurred to me...the similarity between sinking into a deep space in meditation and the so-called final slipping away. What the mystics call "little deaths" is something I've been thinking about lately. And when I do, I slow down and relax.

spaces between breaths
lengthening, stretching into
one last in between

such an interesting background and your haiku is so brilliant and thought-provoking...
the french use the phrase "little death" to describe orgasms..interesting how your haiku works for both concepts!
(i hope it's okay that i added the last thought...feel free to edit it out if you think others may find it offensive)

response to susanlavonne...
thank you for the appreciation AND for adding the additional view on "little death." It is like that...outside of one's contained self. I hope, with you, that people don't find mention of orgasms offensive. Of course they might. Let's let them choose.

No problem here with "little death" in any of it's meanings.:-) I definitely read the French use of the phrase into the 'ku on first scan.

I love how the so subtle, so small and tiny, space between breaths, becomes the vastness of death. And all contained in the subtleness of a little 'ku. Really nice.
