Sunday Scribblings: I have a secret

and if I tell you someone’s secret, will I tell someone yours?

secrets must be wrapped
in a blanket of silence
or they fly away

keeping a secret
requires a special talent
suspension of speech

a tasty secret
has a bubbling energy
that lifts the lid off

drop a small secret
into the ear of friend
hope for safekeeping

he told a secret
it flitted from ear to ear
collecting pollen

now that we’ve shared it
will it hold us together
or tear us apart?

It's like "to put a bug in someone's ear." Sweet. :)
