inspire me thursday: dear diary

"A letter from Jilly [Cooper] thanked us for the luncheon party and added that her daily, having done the shopping which included ox's heart for the cat, left a note: 'Your money's in the envelope and your heart's in the freezer.'"

What a wonderful interpretation of a quote! I love how you created the perspective. The heart looks as if it is encapsulated in the block of ice. I love it! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely compliments. :D

I can hear 'Crystal Blue Persuasion' playing in the background...but in this case...it's 'Crystal Red Heart's Persuasion!' Your talent and imagination are extraordinary!

LOL. The note made me grin and the work made me feel soothed. Wonder why? I think it might be the repeated pattern of squares for the ice, the shape of the work, and the outline of squares... I cheerlead this.
