inchies are 1" by 1" squares (fabric or paper) you can embellish them however you wish, usually 9 are made, they are exchanged within a group so a variety are received back. If you go to flickr and search inchie you will see how big they are.

Wow! I love what you did with your original photo! The blues and greens really compliment each other. If I hadn't read that you had altered it digitally, I would think this was an exotic tree.:D
