silenced bird

this little bird has a scarlet ribbon tied around her beak, but all her magic visionings are finding other ways to fly free and one day soon she'll slip off that ribbon...what a day that will be!

go see more artist trading cards at inspire me thursday, where birds grow wings & fly.

and then give yourself a double treat...explore Seena Frost's Soul Collage process and Cheryl Finley's Soul Collage workshops.

Megan,
I love this unique little bird (I love birds!)...and I just love the word "inklings" too! You've created a lovely, sweet and endearing work of art. And thank you for mentioning SoulCollage and my workshops. I DID think of that with this IMT's challenge : )

Keep up your beautiful, inspiring work!

Hey what's that background. And yes I think all the people that used the word sweet are right on. I would also add a tiny bit sad but that's because of the subject of it.... Bravo on the card.
