oh the burner mark made me snicker! how wonderful to have a cookbook full of not only recipes but memories, too.

The front of yours really looks new compared to mine, but I love it. I gave one to each of my daughters.
I have one of these that goes back almost 40 years. It says New too but I think it is timeless.

It's THE traditional cookbook, at least in my family, and although it says "new" right there on the cover, I've had it for 33 years...(thanks, Mom)...long enough to set it down on a hot burner at least once.
