one deep breath haiku: shadow & light

straight up noontime sun
flattens light like a pancake
pressed against the ground

but

the low, sideways light
at the thin ends of the day
outshines the flat center

I love the sound of "straight up noontime sound" and also like the way they connect.

Love those, in particular "the thin ends of the day".

I love the link in these and the incredible imagery you created. I also love the passage of time that the sun and light journey through. Really, really beautiful.

I like the connection of the two; really like the image of sun flattening light like a pancake.
